Honesty is always the best policy...
So, whilst every effort is made to ensure that your order arrives on schedule, we cannot absolutely guarantee it. Due to their size some parcels have to be manually sorted through the courier's network meaning almost every parcel normally arrives within two working days from despatch.
Finally, whilst we are able to accept instructions to leave an order somewhere on the property (or with a neighbour), with this request the customer accepts full responsibility. We will not accept liability for loss or damage to the goods once instructed to leave a delivery somewhere. In addition, whilst we pass on these instructions to the courier, it is left to the discretion of the driver whether they are followed. If you can leave a note on your door with instructions for the driver in the event that you are out, we have found this dramatically increases the chance that they will be followed.
In the event that no-one is available to receive the delivery at the first attempt, and the driver is unable to leave it somewhere, a second attempt is automatically made the following working day. Thereafter it is the customer's responsibility to arrange a third and final attempt or collect the goods from the local depot. The goods will be held at the local depot for five working days following the second attempt, after which they will be returned to us with no refund to the client.
In order to avoid disappointment we therefore encourage customers to order early and leave a little more time for delivery.
